Senior Social Worker required for a fixed term contract or permanent position with this service in Northern Western Australia . You will join a multidisciplinary team to provide services as a Rural Generalist. The start date is ASAP. The focus of the caseload will be:
- A mix of ED/inpatient, outpatients, child development and community outreach to remote Aboriginal communities
- You must have leadership and/or senior experience across above areas
- Join a team of 25
- A driving license is required. You must be willing to travel and undertake overnight stays
- Accommodation available, subsidised cost dependent on type of accommodation
- Relocation Reimbursement by negotiation – flights/petrol, accommodation and/or removalist expenses
- Minimum six month commitment
Salary range of $112,269 to $ 119,290 and other benefits such as Regional Allowance, Annual Leave Travel Concession, Aircon Subsidy.
This area sits at the heart of a region that's as rich in Indigenous culture and history as it is in natural wonders, including the spectacle of the Staircase to the Moon. As a bustling Indian Ocean port, the town is home to enormous ships and huge trains. It's also a great base for ocean-based activities, including fishing, crabbing and whale watching (in season). Visit during turtle nesting season. It’s a great location to use as a base to explore Northern WA.
