CC Medical is a boutique medical recruitment company with over 30 years of experience in healthcare recruitment and we are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to provide expert care and support to breast cancer patients in a job-share role alongside an experienced breast care nurse. This is a permenant role based at a leading private hospital in Toowoomba, QLD, renowned for its compassionate and professional healthcare services.
 
About the Role
As a Breast Care Nurse, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, offering guidance and emotional support from diagnosis through to treatment. You will collaborate closely with breast surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist nursing care, education, and emotional support to patients and families.
• Assist with pre/post-operative education and wound management.
• Coordinate care with breast surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.

• Registered Nurse (AHPRA) with 2+ years’ experience(3+ years in breast care or oncology preferred).
• Postgraduate qualification in Breast Cancer Nursing is desirable.
• Strong ability to provide both clinical and emotional support to patients.
• Familiarity with McGrath Cancer Care Services and best practices in breast cancer support would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
