Occupational Therapists required for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of 25 allied health staff to cover:
- Hours would be 0800-1630 Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid break (7.5 hours per day)
- Upto $70 per hour + super – this is dependent on experience
- Shared accommodation can be provided for the candidate for the length of contract
- Up to $1000 (incl. GST) will be reimbursed for one way travel
- Caseload includes inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation including group classes, home visits, and joint sessions with other members of the multidisciplinary team and Allied Health Assistants. Would also be expected to complete some generalist OT tasks and assist with general acute inpatient and ward based cares.
- Working amongst the young and dynamic multidisciplinary Allied Health team of approx. 45 clinicians. The team regularly plan weekend adventures including camping, rodeos, and local events which the candidate would be welcome to join. We have a few gyms in town including a yoga studio, and there is a large lake nearby for paddleboarding, canoeing, swimming, or boating.
- You must be an experienced Occupational Therapist with the relevant skill set. A minimum of two years experience is required.
This region offers a real insight into Outback Australia, with a wide range of places to enjoy 4 wheel driving, camping, fishing and hiking. A great location for any intrepid explorer!
