Your new role will see you working in an evolving health service committed to meeting the current and future treatment and care needs of individuals and families living across the Sunshine Coast, including Caloundra, Nambour, Maleny and Gympie regions.
As the successful applicant, you will be working in a large tertiary hospital with an excellent reputation for innovation, teaching and career advancement. The hospital provides public hospital and health services to a population of approximately 460,000 people. This hospital works in close partnership with the Sunshine Coast Health Institute, working together to implement new initiatives and improving health and wellbeing outcomes for the region.
Mental health services are an integral part of the suite of services on offer. Specialised teams operate across inpatient and community settings to deliver treatment and care. These teams include 1300 MH Call, adult acute care, addiction services, child and youth mental health, consultation liaison, continuing care, cultural healing, eating disorders service, community mental health, homeless health outreach, older persons mental health, and rehabilitation services.
