This role will see you joining a large Victorian public health service with an excellent reputation for providing safe, high-quality care across the lifespan to approximately one-quarter of Melbourne’s population.
As a provider of quality mental health treatment and care, this service delivers mental health services via acute inpatient units, community facilities, alcohol & drug services, child & adolescent services, counselling and rehabilitation services. Specialist services are also provided through psychological therapy services, an eating disorder service, gender dysphoria clinic and a perinatal infant inpatient unit providing mental health treatment and support to expectant mothers and mothers with newborn babies.
This exciting role will see you working in a specialised adult mental health unit, delivering psychiatric services to patients aged between 18-65 years. As the successful applicant you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services; providing leadership to the assessment, treatment and consultation team; supporting research, education, training and supervision activities at undergraduate and postgraduate level; and contributing to service development.
