As the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will:
- Lead and manage the O&G department, ensuring high-quality maternity and gynaecology services.
- Provide clinical leadership and train registrars, junior doctors, and health professionals.
- Oversee inpatient, outpatient, and outreach O&G services.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and service efficiency.
- Maintain clinical governance and risk management.
- Develop innovative care models and engage in research to improve regional women’s healthcare.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate on service planning.
- FRANZCOG (Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists).
- AHPRA Specialist Registration in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in teaching, training, and mentoring junior doctors.
- Knowledge of clinical governance, safety protocols, and hospital accreditation standards.
- Willingness to travel to regional and remote healthcare sites as needed.
